1. The Bible says that God cannot be tempted.
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.” – James 1:13
What happened to Jesus in Matthew 4:1?
“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” – Matthew 4:1
2. The True God is One God.
“Hear, O Israel; The Lord [Jehovah] our God is one Lord [Jehovah]” – Mark 12:29 – the words of Jesus.
3. The One True God sent Jesus the Messiah.
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” – John 17:3
4. Jesus prays to his God the Father.
“And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.” – John 11:41
5. Only God the Father is omniscient.
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” – Matthew 24:36
